Janice J. Platt - $60,000 plus

Good Morning Robin Hood: March 9, 2010 This is when my problems begin.... back on October 27, 2003 I got hurt at work, since then I have been on Workers’ Compensation (WC) with lower back pain. WC refuse to allow the doctor to do any surgery so I continue go back and forth to which ever doctor they (WC) instruct me to see. I had no ideal that I would be out of work for over 5 yrs. Needless to say that sometime around March 2004, I received my termination letter – I know I don’t need to say more on that. However, I hope that I would be released I did finish my on line schooling in Criminal Justice. I had hoped that I would be able to obtain employment in that field. I’ve been denied any SSI, because of my age 48. I receive $284 a week from WC. Please allow me to add this as well. I am retired military therefore; I receive $1604 a month. My debit to the Dept of Education is $60,000 plus with interest building. I applied with my mortgage company to reduce my monthly payment ($1505 monthly), however I have not been approved as of yet. This income to cover my bills as well. Electric, gas, water, etc.... Mr. Hood I know you are saying, well why can’t my family help me.... My family is deceased. I lost my grandmother December 31, 2001 and my father October 2, 2005. My own father’s sister no longer keeps in contact with me and whenever I call her she’s always busy, promise to return my call...good thing I didn’t hold my breath... so I reside in Atlanta, Georgia alone – well I do have my dog Bandit. I can understand that with today’s pressures there are many requesting your help. I would appreciate anything assistance that you would be able to provide. If I have not provided you enough information, please feel free to call me ANYTIME at 770-498-7001. Again, if nothing else, I thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Sincerely, Janice J Platt
