Hi, Im 27 yrs old, i have 4 children. One of my daughters was diagnosed with severe Asthma. She's been hospitalized since she was 2 or 3 the first time she was in for Pneumonia and difficulty breathing, she had acid reflux as well thats when it all started. No one in my family ever had asthma therefore i did not know the symptons nor the triggers. We used to live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Los Angeles where our apt was the next to the boiler room there was a leak that caused the whole wall from our room to have mold! I wasnt sure that , that would end up causing her Asthma until now. I didnt qualify for Medi-Cal because my income went over the limit by a couple dollars so the last time she was hospitalized we didnt have medical insurance. We now live in a 2 bedroom but now this place got infested with Cockroaches. i quit my job to keep our home clean we are stuck with the bill and i need to move but this is affecting my credit to move to a much cleaner home. i am in despair because her meds r very expensive, she supposed to take meds everyday but i have to stretch it out as much to dont finish it soon. Please help!!!My prayer is almost answered after i seen the news about this i could not believe what i was listening to...her name is Ruby she's 5 everytime she's hospitalized she's in for up to 4 -5 days we always missed work to never leave her alone in the hospital. My kids and i always are praying for her but always start crying so we end up stopping because this too hard even on them. she's limited in doing activities because we're afraid she will have another asthma attack. She's very tuff but i think the steroids she's taking is making her that way, the meds she takes has several affects like give her nightmares all the time, make her voice change very deep, she might have trouble having childeren later in life.
